THE 2020 CRAFT FAYRE
HAS BEEN CANCELLED
The decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Caraft Fayre in Stephen's Church. The decision has been made early but not lightly. We do not want our committed stall holders to be producing their crafts while there is a high probability that we would not be able to hold the fayre this year because of the restrictions imposed upon all of us and those precautions that we feel many would want us to take on their behalf. And those who have been to the Craft Fayre in past years know, the space int he church is not really suitable for social distancing - and in many ways that is part of the charm of the event. Even if the government has relaxed the regulations regarding social distancing by the beginning of Novemeber, we know that some people would still be wary of coming into a confined space with potentially a lot of other people and so we would rather make this decision now and look forward to a new fair in 2021 when we hope our regular stall holders and many other people will feel confident in coming to enjoy the event which has been a great sucess in past years. We thank you for your understanding but if you would like to pass comment on this decision we will always be pleased to hear from you.
